*Some may not realize that when coming back from the beach, sand gets everywhere such as the floor, the bed, and the bathroom. Your vacation will most likely be much more enjoyable if someone else takes care of the cleaning, especially for a long stay. Also because of high humidity, bath and beach towels may not get dried at all even if you leave the air-conditioner on all day. So we change your towels as frequently as you need.

Terms
• Rates are based on single - double occupancy in each room + 7% room tax. Additional persons will be charged extra. No other hidden fees.
• Please call or e-mail us for information on rates. We have special discounts and lower rates on specific dates.
• For advance reservations, normally 3 nights minimum for holidays and weekends (Thur - Sun). However please inquire us because sometimes we may have availability in-between reservations.
• If you are comparing our rates against other properties, you may want to double-check if they have undisclosed charges at check-out. At the time of booking, most online travel web sites only charge you the base rate which excludes expenses such as 10 - 20% resort fee, $5 energy charges per person or 10% service charge which are due and disclosed at the moment of check-out. So do ask other properties the questions about these hidden fees and add it up to the base rate when comparing prices.
Jr. Suite
If you enjoy space and like to lounge around inside your room, the Jr. suite is the perfect choice. It has the same size as any chain hotel room with living space. It has a sofa which can also be converted to a Full-size bed. It has a coffee table and a mini-kitchenette (a micro-wave oven, a coffee maker, a toaster, a mini-bar fridge, and utensils but no stove). So you can prepare simple breakfast, sandwiches and warm up food.

Studios
The two studios have full kitchens. They are perfect for families or travelers who need to prepare meals during their stay. The small studio is a little bit bigger than the standard rooms. The large studio is about the same size as regular rooms in chain hotels. Both studios have large fridges that can hold more groceries. They also have tables with chairs so that you could enjoy your meals comfortably. Or bring your food to our patio or deck, al fresco!

Small Standard Rooms
Our small standard rooms are smaller (like the Europeans) compared to North American standards but they are cozy and very efficient. The rooms are well-suited for short stay or for active travelers who are on out most of the day. They also include a small desk & a chair besides the ensuite private bathroom.

Deluxe Rooms
Deluxe rooms are slightly larger than small standard rooms and have mini-kitchenettes (micro-wave oven, coffee maker, toaster, mini-bar fridge, and utensils but no stove) that add convenience to short or extended vacations. You can make simple breakfast and warm up food. Like we have mentioned, local criollo restaurants serve large potions like in U.S., so it's perfect if you want to heat up your left-over mofongo or chuleta can-can. In the room there are also a small table with 2 chairs so that you can enjoy your meal.
We have 1 single room and has a comfortable Full-size (European double) bed. Normally it's perfect for one person. But if you and your friend are on a tight budget, it could be a plausible solution.
Shared Interior Patio
Shared 2nd Floor Sundeck
Come bring your favorite book and stretch out... The sundeck is perfect if you want to lounge around and have a relaxing day. You could also move the chairs aside and practice your child pose if you bring along your yoga mat.
Free Internet Center & Free WIFI (Near Reception Area and Patio)
Enjoy free access to a computer with internet access in case you would like to keep in touch with your friends and family back home during your visit. Or if you would like to bring along your laptop, tablet, or mobile phone, you will have free access to WIFI signal through-out the guest house as well. However, the signal strength depends on the location of the room you are staying in. So the best bet is to take a seat in the common area where the signal is the strongest.
Front Desk (Limited Hours)
The front desk hours are normally from 8:30 am to 12 pm (noon). Check-ins in the evening & late-night hours are okay (you will be provided special check-in instruction). We will be glad to help you plan your activities during your stay. We could also make reservations for cars and tours at no charge. Or if you need an extra pillow or change to different type of pillows, we will be there to help. We live in the house, so you will always be able to reach us one way or another. : )
***For all "plan-as-I-go" globetrotters, we understand your notion of being spontaneous. However if you don't have a "confirmed" reservation and decide to show up at our door between 11 pm - 8:30 am, you are taking a risk because we may be deeply asleep and not be able to hear the doorbell. Or we might be full and there is no availability at all. But please feel free to stop by during the day and check our availability.
• We are a small house. We are neither a 5-star hotel nor a boutique inn. If you have never stayed in a house before, you may want to re-consider your options. However we do try to maintain our house clean and cozy. In addition, we also try to help our guests so that they would experience San Juan & Puerto Rico in a more personal & authentic way.
• Our house has a typical Puerto Rican house layout, in which half of our rooms' access and windows are facing the small interior patio. The other rooms have windows facing the streets or side walkways. So it's very different from North American standard. Our rooms also varies a lot in terms of room location, amenities and features. It's always a good idea to let us know your special needs before making a reservation. Please ask lots of questions if you do have them. We will try to guide you to the right room for your stay, or to decide if Andalucia is right for you at all.
• Our house is best-suited for active explorers and beach-goers who enjoy exploring foreign culture, history and foods, and at the same time like the idea of having quick access to a nice beach and local restaurants.
• You may have been recommended by other travelers who had enjoyed their stay with us. However, we would like to remind you that individual expectations & experiences vary. Most of our guests enjoyed their stay with us. Some of them have returned. A handful has become our friends. Once in a blue moon, few were disappointed because they had different expectations. Meanwhile, others had planned their wedding and family reunion in San Juan and had us accommodated their families & friends.
• If you are booking on behalf of a group, we highly recommend you urging your friends to visit our web site so that they know what they are booking and to avoid differences in expectations.
